MISSION STATEMENT
The mission of the Multicultural Real Estate Alliance for Urban Change (MCREA) is to provide information and education to its members that will allow them to affect changes in the economic conditions of South Los Angeles and Greater Los Angeles, CA. The goals and objectives include; increasing minority homeownership, increasing the supply of affordable housing, helping prevent homelessness, and advocating for legislation that will improve housing conditions. The alliance, along with many other participating community partners, takes a proactive approach to homeownership by raising awareness of critical issues that impact the community like redlining and predatory lending.
